Welcome to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met by a representative from African Fairytale Tours & Safaris and transferred to your accommodation.

After checking in, take some time to settle in and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have an opportunity to explore the town or enjoy the facilities at your lodge.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and prepare for the activities ahead. Your guide can brief you on the safari programme and the arrangements for travelling between Zimbabwe and Botswana.

After breakfast, head out for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. Follow the established rainforest trails and visit the viewpoints overlooking the waterfall. Your guide will explain the formation of the Falls, their local significance and the surrounding natural environment.

After the guided tour, enjoy a game drive in the Victoria Falls area. This provides an opportunity to look for wildlife in the surrounding bush, with possible sightings including elephants, giraffes, buffalo and antelopes. Wildlife sightings depend on the season and local conditions.

The day also includes a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. From the air, you can appreciate the scale of the waterfall, the course of the Zambezi River and the surrounding landscape. The flight offers a different perspective from the viewpoints on the ground.

After the activities, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, depart Victoria Falls and travel to Kasane, Botswana. You will cross the international border and complete the required immigration formalities before continuing into Botswana.

Once the transfer arrangements are completed, begin your Chobe National Park safari experience. Chobe is well known for its elephants, buffalo, antelopes and diverse birdlife. The park's riverfront and woodland habitats support a variety of wildlife, making it an important destination for game viewing.

Depending on the confirmed schedule, enjoy the planned Chobe safari activity or activities, with opportunities to observe wildlife and photograph the surrounding scenery. The precise timing will depend on the border crossing, transfer duration and activity arrangements.

Later, transfer to Kwalape Safari Lodge or a similar property near Kasane. Settle in, enjoy dinner and prepare for the journey to Savuti.

After breakfast, leave Kasane and travel towards Savuti, a remote safari region within Chobe National Park. The journey takes you away from the more accessible areas around Kasane and into a landscape characterised by woodland, open plains and sandy tracks.

Travel times can vary considerably depending on the route, road conditions and wildlife encountered along the way. Your safari team will manage the journey and any planned stops.

On arrival in Savuti, settle into your campsite and become familiar with the camping arrangements. This part of the safari offers a more adventurous experience, allowing you to spend time in a natural setting away from conventional lodge accommodation.

If time and conditions permit, there may be an opportunity for an introductory game drive. Otherwise, the priority will be settling into camp and preparing for the following day's safari.

Today is dedicated to exploring Savuti and its surrounding wilderness. After an early start, head out on a game drive to look for wildlife while temperatures are generally cooler and animals may be active.

Savuti is known for its varied wildlife and predator populations. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, lions and hyenas. Sightings are never guaranteed, but the diversity of the region makes each drive an opportunity to discover something different.

Your guide will help identify animals, explain their behaviour and point out interesting features of the landscape. The route may pass through open plains, woodland and seasonal marsh areas, depending on access and current conditions.

Enjoy a planned lunch break before continuing with further game viewing as the schedule allows. The day provides time to explore different areas of Savuti rather than relying on a single short drive.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and another night under the African sky.

Begin the day with a morning game drive in Savuti. The early hours offer an opportunity to search for wildlife before the heat of the day increases. Your guide will explore suitable routes based on recent sightings, local conditions and the time available.

After the game drive, return to camp, pack your belongings and prepare for the journey back to Kasane.

The transfer takes you out of the remote Savuti region and back towards the Chobe area. Road conditions and travel times may vary, so the day's schedule will be organised to allow sufficient time for the journey.

On arrival in Kasane, check in at Kwalape Safari Lodge or a similar property. Enjoy some time to rest after the drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After the safari, return to Kasane and begin the road transfer to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You will complete the necessary border formalities before continuing to your accommodation.

On arrival in Victoria Falls, check in and enjoy your final evening of the trip. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or explore the town independently.
