5-Day Victoria Falls & Hwange National Park Safari

Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, where you will be met by your African Fairytale Tours representative and transferred to your hotel.

After check-in, enjoy some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon Zambezi River sunset cruise.

Cruise along the upper Zambezi River while looking out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and other wildlife along the riverbanks. As the sun sets over the river, enjoy refreshments and take in the peaceful scenery.

Return to your hotel after the cruise for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, meet your guide for a guided tour of Victoria Falls.

Walk along the rainforest trails and viewpoints while learning about the Falls, the surrounding environment and its importance to the local area. Depending on the season, you may experience spectacular views of the Falls and the spray rising from the gorge.

After the tour, enjoy lunch before departing for Hwange National Park.

The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours, depending on your accommodation location. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.

Start the day early with a morning game drive in Hwange National Park, when wildlife is often most active.

Explore the park's varied landscapes and waterholes in search of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and predators such as lions and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short break before heading back into the park for an afternoon game drive.

As temperatures cool towards evening, wildlife becomes more active, providing another opportunity for sightings and photography.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for your final morning game drive in Hwange National Park.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and travelling back to Victoria Falls.

Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, check in at your hotel and have some time to relax.

Later, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, offering spectacular aerial views of the Falls, the Zambezi River and the surrounding landscape.

In the evening, experience a Boma Dinner and Drum Show, featuring traditional Zimbabwean food, music, dancing and drumming.

Return to your hotel for overnight.
