3-Day Victoria Falls And Chobe Escape – Batonka Lodge or similar

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Batonka Lodge or similar. After check-in and some time to settle in, begin your Victoria Falls experience.

Join a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of Africa's most iconic natural attractions. Accompanied by an experienced local guide, explore the rainforest paths and designated viewpoints overlooking the magnificent waterfall. Learn about the formation of the falls, their historical significance and their importance to the local communities.

Depending on the season and prevailing water levels, you may experience anything from impressive mist and powerful cascades to clearer views of the rock formations and gorge.

In the late afternoon, proceed to the Zambezi River for a sunset cruise. Relax aboard the boat as you travel along the river, enjoying the scenery and watching for wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles and elephants along the riverbanks. As the sun sets, take in the changing colours of the African sky and enjoy a peaceful introduction to the natural beauty of the region.

After the cruise, return to Batonka Lodge or similar for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Victoria Falls for a full-day safari excursion to Chobe National Park in Botswana.

Travel to the Botswana border and complete the required immigration formalities before continuing to the Chobe region. This destination is particularly renowned for its large elephant population, diverse wildlife and spectacular scenery along the Chobe River.

Your safari combines two complementary wildlife experiences.

Morning: Chobe National Park game drive

Explore the park on a guided game drive, travelling through areas known for their wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelope and other animals that inhabit the region. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may also encounter predators such as lions or leopards.

Your guide will help you identify wildlife and understand the animals' behaviour and the ecology of the park.

Midday: Lunch break

Take a break for lunch before continuing with the afternoon's activities. The meal arrangements will depend on the confirmed Chobe excursion.

Afternoon: Chobe River boat safari

Enjoy a boat safari along the Chobe River, offering a different perspective on the wildlife. The river attracts numerous animals, particularly during the dry season, when elephants and other species gather along its banks to drink and cool off.

Look out for hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds and elephants approaching or crossing the river. The boat safari also provides excellent opportunities for photography and observing wildlife from the water.

After the safari, return to Victoria Falls and prepare for an evening of cultural entertainment.

Evening: Boma Dinner and Drum Show

Experience the famous Boma Dinner and Drum Show, a popular cultural attraction in Victoria Falls. Enjoy traditional Zimbabwean dishes alongside music, dancing and interactive drumming. The experience provides an entertaining introduction to local cuisine and cultural traditions.

After dinner, return to Batonka Lodge for your second overnight stay.

Depending on your departure arrangements, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight. If you are continuing your journey to Botswana, Zambia or another destination, alternative transfer arrangements can be organised upon request.
