This full-day adventure gives you ample time to explore two remarkable wildlife destinations, Zambezi National Park and Chamabondo National Park, accompanied by an experienced local safari guide.
Your adventure begins with a 6:00 AM pick-up from your hotel or lodge in Victoria Falls. As the day begins, head into the wilderness in search of wildlife, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the African bush during the cooler morning hours. With a full day dedicated to game viewing, you have more time to explore different habitats, follow promising wildlife sightings and appreciate the natural surroundings without rushing from one location to another.
Both parks offer opportunities to encounter a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes and members of the antelope family. Depending on the season, location and conditions on the day, you may also encounter other fascinating animals and birdlife. While wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, spending more time in the field provides additional opportunities to observe animals in their natural environment.
A packed breakfast and lunch are provided, allowing you to enjoy your meals in the bush and make the most of your time in the wilderness. Throughout the safari, you will have opportunities to ask your guide questions, learn about animal behaviour, discover the ecology of the parks and gain a deeper understanding of the African ecosystem.
Unlike shorter game drives, this experience is designed for travellers who value time, patience and a more personal safari. You can enjoy wildlife sightings at a comfortable pace, with less pressure to rush between locations or compete with numerous vehicles at every sighting.
At approximately 5:30 PM, you will begin leaving the park and returning to Victoria Falls. You should arrive back at your hotel at around 6:00 PM, bringing your full day of exploration to a close.
